Amanda is a licensed esthetician and the founder of Complexion Co. Skin Studio — a private studio in Manchester built on a simple belief: your skin deserves more than a one-size-fits-all treatment.
Specializing in corrective skin treatments, luxury waxing, and brow transformations, Amanda designs every appointment around your skin's condition, concerns, and goals. Expect advanced, results-driven care in a calming space — and to leave understanding your skin better than when you arrived.

Start with The Complexion Reset — it's our personalized entry point. During your visit we assess your skin and tailor the treatment, then map out what your skin needs going forward. You can also reach out before booking and we'll point you to the right service.
Most clients feel light tingling or warmth — not pain. Every treatment is adjusted to your skin's tolerance, and we always work within what your skin can comfortably handle.
Most treatments have little to no downtime. Some advanced services may leave skin lightly pink or flaky for a few days as it renews — we'll always tell you what to expect before we begin.
Arrive with clean skin if you can, and pause strong actives (like retinol or exfoliating acids) for a few days before advanced treatments. Your booking confirmation includes specific prep for your service.
For most services: direct sun, heavy sweating, and strong actives for 24–72 hours. You'll leave with simple aftercare guidance tailored to your treatment.
Mild redness, warmth, or light sensitivity are normal and usually settle within hours. Advanced resurfacing may bring light flaking for a few days — that's your skin renewing.
You may notice a temporary increase in breakouts after treatment. This is called purging and is a normal response as trapped congestion comes to the surface before your skin begins to clear.
You'll notice a difference after one visit — but real, lasting transformation builds over a series of treatments. That's exactly what our packages and memberships are designed for.
